So much of what makes for true happiness is free-available to rich and poor alike.  What gives essence (your true Self) joy, and therefore you, is experiencing life, expressing yourself, and serving others.  For instance, it costs you nothing to experience the beauty of nature, to sing, or to speak kindly to others or in other ways serve them with your words. Many of the things you can do for others don’t cost anything but perhaps time and energy. There is great joy in experiencing, expressing, and serving. Furthermore, these are things you can do again and again. You can’t do them too much and you won’t run out of opportunities to do them.

The beauty of this planet and the miracle of its life forms can be a never-ending source of joy if you take the time to notice what is around you, not only with your eyes but all your senses, which were given to you for just this purpose. Even unpleasant sensory experiences are amazing and appreciated by essence. What a range of experiences is possible here on this planet! Essence created all of this, and it revels in experiencing what it has created. When you are aligned with essence, you feel this joy and amazement.

The mind overlooks so much.  “I’ve seen that.”  It labels things with words, presumes to know them, then moves its attention onto something else, most likely onto a thought about the past or future or onto a desire. The mind isn’t actually interested in experiencing life; it is only interested in its version of life and in getting what it wants. If something or some experience isn’t seen as potentially enhancing the ego or helping it achieve its goals, it quickly loses interest in it.

However, essence’s goal is experience.  Its approach to life is very different.  When you are aligned with essence and no longer identified with the mind to the extent that most people are, your experience of life will be very different. You won’t see life from the ego’s perspective but from essence’s, and what essence sees is beauty everywhere because it loves life and feels such gratitude to have what is capable of experiencing.

You see, without a body/mind, the Creator can’t experience its creations, at least not in the same way. The Creator has to become a creation to really experience creation, and that is what it has done. It has taken on your unique body/mind in order to have a unique experience. What a miracle that is, and what an amazing Intelligence you are part of. Life is a great gift, and it is relished by essence (the name we give to the incarnated from the Creator). The Creator is alive in you as essence. It doesn’t know exactly what will unfold in creation, and this makes life especially interesting. It doesn’t know how life will unfold because it has given its sentient creations, like you, free will-the freedom to choose. You are free to choose to align yourself with essence or with the ego, or false self, which is an illusion the Creator, has created to make things interesting.

It is your purpose and nature to experience this life, and it can be experienced with joy if you just allow the experience you are having rather than reject it or fight against it. The ego is set up to reject life, but you are here to learn to experience life without the ego’s resistance. You are here to learn to say yes to it all, as essence does. That is the secret to life. Secrets are hidden, and this secret is hidden by the ego.

You are meant to uncover it by seeing the falseness of the ego. This of a puzzle to solve, and you are given all the clues you need.
